About Product Overview

This SharkBite adapter connects 1/2" tubing to 1/2" male iron pipe threads without a torch, glue, or a trip back to the truck for a soldering kit. The push-to-connect end grips and seals as soon as it's seated, making it a fast fix for transitioning push-fit lines into threaded fittings, valves, or fixtures. Built from lead-free polypropylene, it holds up to 150 PSI and 140°F, covering most residential water line repairs and additions.
