About Product Overview

These #8 x 1-5/8" deck screws from Simpson Strong-Tie are built from Type 316 stainless steel, the marine-grade alloy that holds up where standard stainless corrodes - think coastal decks, hot tub surrounds, and anywhere salt air or constant moisture is a factor. The flat head sits flush for a clean finished surface, and the lobe drive resists cam-out so you're not stripping heads halfway through the job.
