About Product Overview

Simpson Strong-Tie's SDW Strong-Drive screws are built for structural wood-to-wood connections that need to hold up outside. The self-drilling tip lets you drive straight in without a pilot hole, and the E-Coat finish is rated for outdoor exposure so these won't be the weak point in a deck, ledger, or framing connection. Star drive bit resists cam-out and strips less than a standard Phillips head under load.
