About Product Overview

This SKIL 7-1/4" circular saw runs on a 15-amp motor that spins the blade up to 5300 RPM, giving it the power to plow through framing lumber, plywood, and general construction cuts without bogging down. The built-in laser guide helps you track your cutting line for straighter cuts, especially useful on longer rip cuts where freehand accuracy tends to drift. A spindle lock makes blade changes easier since you're not fighting the arbor while you loosen the bolt.

The saw bevels to 51 degrees for angled cuts and handles a maximum cutting depth of 2-7/16" at 90 degrees, or 1-15/16" at 45 degrees, so it covers most dimensional lumber in a single pass. At 8.7 pounds, it's light enough for overhead work and extended use without wearing out your arm. This is a corded model with a 6-foot cord, built for job site or workshop use where you've got power nearby. Good fit for framers, remodelers, and DIYers tackling deck builds, framing, and general carpentry.
