About Product Overview

Worm drive saws are built for framers and anyone cutting through stacks of lumber all day, and this SKIL SPT77W-01 sticks to that job description with a 15-amp motor that pushes the 7-1/4" blade up to 5300 RPM. The left-side blade location gives right-handed users a clear line of sight down the cut, which matters when you're following a chalk line on a jobsite instead of a bench. Depth adjusts up to 2-13/32" at 90 degrees, and the bevel swings to 51 degrees for angled cuts on rafters, stair stringers, and framing work. A keyed blade change and 5/8" arbor keep blade swaps straightforward, and the spindle lock helps you get there without extra tools. It's corded with an 8-foot cord, UL listed, and weighs 14.2 lbs on its own - solid enough to feel stable in the cut, light enough to carry between stations.
