About Product Overview

A 7.5-amp motor and a 1-1/8" stroke give this SKIL reciprocating saw the muscle to push through demolition, remodeling, and rough cutting jobs without bogging down. Strokes run up to 2700 per minute, so you're not standing there waiting on the tool to catch up to the work, whether you're cutting through framing lumber, pipe, or trimming down material on a job site.

The keyless blade change means you can swap blades between cuts without hunting for a wrench, and the adjustable shoe lets you control depth and get closer to your cutting line for cleaner results. A variable speed switch gives you control over the pace, so you can slow down for tricky cuts or open it up for straight runs. It's corded, so you get consistent power for as long as the job takes, and it's sold as tool only.

Price check

Go ahead. Check.

You're going to open the other tab. Everybody does. We'd rather say so than pretend otherwise — so open it. We'll wait.

When you're over there, check four things before you click buy.

01

Who's actually selling it

The brand name is on the listing. A different company is in the seller field. Those aren't the same thing, and the second one is who you're buying from.

02

Whether the warranty survives

Most manufacturers only honor a warranty when the unit came through an authorized dealer. We're authorized for Skil. A third-party marketplace seller usually isn't.

03

Where the box came from

Gray-market stock, returns repackaged as new, and outright fakes move through marketplaces constantly. It all looks identical in the photo. It stops looking identical when it fails.

04

Who you call when it breaks

Ours is a phone number with a person behind it who has held this product. M–F, 6 AM – 5 PM Pacific. (866) 469-8556

We're not always the cheapest.

Sometimes you'll find it for less. Sometimes you'll find it for more. On a lot of brands the number is identical everywhere it's sold legitimately — the manufacturer sets a minimum advertised price and every authorized dealer holds it. When a price sits well under that, it's worth asking why before it's worth celebrating.

Shop Local · Support Independent

Every order helps keep your local hardware store on the corner.

Why we built NHG
You might find it for less locally. Independent retailers often offer competitive pricing — some products are even cheaper in-store than online.
Real expert advice — not search results. Independent hardware staff know their inventory and the local conditions you're working in.
Keep the neighborhood working. Every dollar spent at an independent retailer returns roughly 3x more to your local economy than at a national chain.
