About Product Overview

SKIL's PWR CORE 40 top handle chainsaw brings cordless power to jobs where a rear-handle saw is too bulky to control. The top handle design lets you work at odd angles and overhead cuts with one hand steadying the saw, making it a good match for pruning, trimming, and general yard cleanup around the property.

It runs on a 40V battery system, and this kit includes the battery and charger so you're not buying those separately. A 12-inch bar with 1/4-inch pitch chain handles branches and smaller trunks, manual tension adjustment lets you tighten the chain without extra tools, and the built-in chain brake adds a layer of safety when you're cutting solo. It's also CARB compliant, so it's cleared for sale and use where emissions rules apply to outdoor power equipment.
