About Product Overview

This is Southwire's 14/2 Romex Type NM-B, the standard cable for general-purpose branch circuits in homes and light commercial work - lighting circuits, receptacles, and switches rated for 15 amps. The 100-foot coil gives you enough length to wire a room or run several circuits without stopping mid-job to open a second box.

Two solid copper conductors plus a copper ground are wrapped in PVC insulation and jacketed in nylon-reinforced sheathing, rated 90°C and 600 volts for a solid margin over typical household loads. It's built for indoor, dry-location use - not rated for wet locations or direct burial, so keep it inside walls and conditioned spaces where it belongs. UL listed and flame retardant, it meets the expectations electricians and inspectors look for on standard residential wiring jobs.
