About Product Overview

This Southwire 12/2 UF-B cable is built for wiring that runs underground or through wet locations without the need for conduit. Rated for direct burial, it's a common choice for outdoor lighting circuits, well pumps, detached garages, sheds, and other outbuildings where you need power to travel through soil or damp ares. The copper conductors carry a 20-amp rating, and the solid PVC-insulated wires are wrapped in a tough, sunlight-resistant nylon jacket that shrugs off moisture and UV exposure over time. Comes on a 1000-foot reel, so it's suited for larger jobs or contractors stocking up.
