About Product Overview

This is Southwire's 10/2 Romex Type NM-B, the orange-jacketed non-metallic cable that's become the standard for 30-amp circuits in homes and light commercial work. The 10-gauge solid copper conductors carry a 600-volt rating and a 90°C temperature rating, giving you the headroom electricians look for on dedicated circuits feeding water heaters, small appliances, or sub-panels. The flame-retardant PVC insulation and tough nylon jacket hold up to the rough handling that comes with fishing wire through studs and joists, and the cable is UL Listed so it meets code requirements inspectors check for.

This is indoor-only cable - it's not rated for direct burial or wet locations, so keep it inside walls, conduit runs, or dry protected spaces. The 25-foot length is sized for shorter runs or repairs where you don't need a full roll. Two conductors plus ground, solid copper throughout, made in the USA.
