About Product Overview

This is Southwire's 10/2 Romex Type NM-B with ground, sold in a 250-foot coil - the wire electricians reach for when a circuit needs to carry 30 amps, which covers dedicated circuits for larger appliances, water heaters, and similar loads where 12 or 14 gauge won't cut it. The orange jacket makes 10-gauge easy to spot and sort on a job site or in a supply room, so you're not stripping wire to check gauge mid-install.

Solid copper conductors with copper ground, PVC insulation, and a nylon jacket give it a 90°C temperature rating and a 600-volt rating, with flame-retardant and sunlight/UV-resistant properties built in. It's rated for direct burial and works for indoor use. UL Listed and made in the USA.
