About Product Overview

This is Southwire's 10/3 Romex NM-B with ground, a solid-copper non-metallic cable built for circuits that need 10-gauge wire and a dedicated ground - think electric water heaters, some dryers, and other 30-amp branch circuits. The 250-foot coil gives you enough length to run a full circuit on most jobs without splicing mid-run, which means fewer connections and less troubleshooting down the road.

The nylon jacket resists abrasion during pulls through studs and joists, and Southwire rates this cable for sunlight/UV exposure, so it holds up if a run gets exposed temporarily during construction. It's rated for indoor use and carries a 90°C temperature rating with a 600-volt rating, giving you margin on both heat and voltage for standard residential and light commercial wiring. UL listing means it meets recognized safety standards, and the flame-retardant jacket adds another layer of protection once it's behind the wall.
