About Product Overview

Southwire's 18/5 sprinkler wire runs valve stations and controllers on irrigation systems, with five 18-gauge solid copper conductors under one PVC jacket. It's rated for direct burial, so you can run it underground from the controller to each zone valve without extra conduit. The PVC insulation resists sunlight and UV breakdown for the stretches that stay exposed, and the flame-retardant jacket adds a margin of safety wherever the run passes near equipment. UL listed and made in the USA, this 250-foot spool covers multi-zone irrigation jobs without splicing partway through.
