About Product Overview

This 50-foot coil of Southwire 12/3 Romex Type NM-B is built for circuits that need a ground wire plus two current-carrying conductors, like split-receptacle setups, three-way switch legs, or dedicated 20-amp circuits feeding smoke detectors and similar loads. The solid copper conductors are rated for 20 amps at up to 600 volts, giving you the headroom for standard residential branch circuits without upsizing.

Each conductor is wrapped in PVC thermoplastic insulation rated to 90 degrees Celsius, then jacketed in flame-retardant nylon for added durability when pulling through studs and joists. It's UL Listed and made in the USA, so it meets code requirements inspectors look for on indoor residential and light commercial jobs. Keep in mind this is an indoor-rated cable only - not for direct burial or wet locations.
