About Product Overview

The SJ05S is a 1/2 HP shallow well jet pump built for households and properties drawing water from wells up to 25 feet deep. It handles up to 528 GPH, making it a solid choice for domestic water supply, sprinkler systems, or general irrigation where a dedicated well pump is needed.

The cast iron housing stands up to the wear and moisture that come with well pump duty, and Star Water Systems built in corrosion resistance to help it hold up over years of service. It runs on either 115 or 230 volts, so it can be wired to match your home's electrical setup, and the built-in pressure switch cycles the pump automatically as demand changes. Keep in mind this is a non-self-priming pump, so it needs to be primed before startup, and it does not include a tank - plan for that separately if your system requires one.
