About Product Overview

This 1/2 HP shallow well jet pump from Star Water Systems is built for homes pulling water from wells 25 feet deep or less, where the water table sits close to the surface. The cast iron housing stands up to years of outdoor or basement duty, resisting the corrosion that eventually kills lesser pumps, and the pressure switch handles on/off cycling automatically so you're not manually managing water pressure.

It moves up to 930 gallons at peak flow and runs on either 115V or 230V power, giving you flexibility depending on your electrical setup. Keep in mind this is a non-self-priming pump, so it needs to be primed before first use and after any air gets into the line. No tank is included, so plan for a separate pressure tank if your system needs one.

Backed by a 2-year limited parts and labor warranty and certified to CSA and UL standards, it's a solid choice for well setups, irrigation, or booster applications where reliable, steady pressure matters.
