Self-priming design saves you the hassle of manually filling the pump before each use, and the built-in pressure switch cycles the motor on and off automatically as demand changes across your sprinkler zones. With a 1-1/2 inch discharge pipe and enough power to lift water 25 feet of head, it's sized for larger lawns, gardens, or agricultural setups where a smaller pump would struggle.
