About Product Overview

This Star Water Systems convertible jet pump is built to work with either a shallow well or, when fitted with the right ejector kit, a deeper well setup - which is what "convertible" means here. The 3/4 HP motor pushes up to 1020 GPH of maximum discharge flow and can lift water against as much as 90 feet of head, giving you real flexibility depending on how your well is configured. It's a pressure-switch pump, not self-priming, so it needs the line primed before startup like most jet pumps of this style.

The cast iron housing stands up to outdoor and utility-room conditions and resists corrosion over time, which matters for a pump that may run for years without much attention. It handles water temperatures from 40 to 130 degrees and runs on dual voltage (115/230V), so it fits into most home electrical setups. CSA and UL compliance and a 2-year limited parts and labor warranty back it up. No tank or mounting hardware is included, so plan for those separately.
