About Product Overview

This SteelWorks angle iron is a 2x2-inch equal-leg angle in 1/8-inch (11 gauge) low carbon steel, cut to a 48-inch length ready for the shop. It's solid weldable stock, not a slotted or perforated shelving angle, so it's built for jobs that need real structural strength: motor mounts, drawer slides, bicycle racks, and bed frames are all common uses. The heavier 1/8-inch thickness gives it more rigidity than lighter-gauge angle, so it holds up under load without flexing. Cut it down with a hacksaw or angle grinder to fit your project, or weld it as-is for framing and mounting brackets.
