This STZ Industries pipe nipple threads into galvanized plumbing runs where you need a straight 9-inch extension between fittings. Both ends are 1-1/4 inch MIP, so it connects directly to standard female threaded fittings without extra adapters. The galvanized steel construction resists corrosion in water lines, and it's rated for up to 229 PSI and 400°F, covering most residential and light commercial plumbing and heating jobs.
