This 1/2 in. black malleable iron union from STZ Industries gives you a way to join two pipe runs and still be able to take them apart later without cutting anything. Both ends are FIP threaded, so it screws into standard female iron pipe fittings on either side. Rated for 300 PSI and up to 150°F, it holds up on black iron gas and low-pressure piping jobs where a permanent joint isn't practical - think water heater hookups, appliance connections, or any line you may need to service down the road.
