About Product Overview

This galvanized steel nipple connects two threaded fittings in a run of 1/2-inch pipe, giving you a solid extension point for repairs or new plumbing and heating lines. Both ends are MIP-threaded to mate with standard fittings, and the galvanized finish holds up against corrosion in water lines and outdoor or damp installations. Rated for pressures up to 214 PSI and temperatures up to 400°F, it's built for real working plumbing and heating systems, not just decorative use.
