About Product Overview

This galvanized steel nipple connects two 1/4-inch MIP fittings with 2 inches of threaded pipe between them, giving you the extension you need for water and gas line repairs. The galvanized finish resists corrosion in wet or exposed plumbing and heating applications, and it's rated for pressures up to 188 PSI and temperatures up to 400°F. Lead-free construction makes it a safe pick for potable water lines.
