This 1 x 12 black steel pipe nipple connects two threaded fittings where you need extra reach between joints. Both ends are 1" MIP, threaded to fit standard steel pipe fittings, and the black finish is the standard choice for gas line and heating system runs. Rated to 226 PSI and 400°F, it holds up in demanding plumbing and heating applications, and it's lead-free for safe use where that matters.
