About Product Overview

This 4-inch black steel close nipple from STZ Industries threads two fittings together in tight spaces where there's no room for a standard-length nipple. Made from black steel with MIP threading on both ends, it's built for gas and fuel line work as well as general black iron pipe assembly. Rated to 175 PSI and 400 degrees, it holds up in the demanding conditions typical of heating and fuel systems, and it's lead-free for compliance where that matters.
