About Product Overview

Running on 12-volt DC power instead of standard household current, this transfer pump from Superior Pump goes where cordless convenience matters - hook it to a car battery, marine battery, or other 12V source and you can move water anywhere, not just near an outlet. That makes it a practical pick for draining boats, RVs, flat roofs, window wells, or waterbeds when you're nowhere near a plug.

The steel housing is built to resist corrosion, so it holds up to repeated exposure to water without rusting out on you. A switchless design keeps things simple - no separate float or toggle to fuss with. At 1/10 horsepower it's not meant for heavy-duty dewatering, but it moves up to 5.5 gallons per minute and can push water up to 35 feet of head, which covers most everyday transfer jobs.

  • 1/10 HP motor, 12V DC powered
  • Maximum discharge flow: 5.5 GPM
  • Maximum feet of head: 35
  • Steel housing, corrosion resistant
  • Switchless switch operation
  • Operating range: 33°F to 120°F; CSA compliant

Go ahead. Check.

You're going to open the other tab. Everybody does. We'd rather say so than pretend otherwise — so open it. We'll wait.

When you're over there, check four things before you click buy.

01

Who's actually selling it

The brand name is on the listing. A different company is in the seller field. Those aren't the same thing, and the second one is who you're buying from.

02

Whether the warranty survives

Most manufacturers only honor a warranty when the unit came through an authorized dealer. We're authorized for Superior Pump. A third-party marketplace seller usually isn't.

03

Where the box came from

Gray-market stock, returns repackaged as new, and outright fakes move through marketplaces constantly. It all looks identical in the photo. It stops looking identical when it fails.

04

Who you call when it breaks

Ours is a phone number with a person behind it who has held this product. M–F, 6 AM – 5 PM Pacific. (866) 469-8556

We're not always the cheapest.

Sometimes you'll find it for less. Sometimes you'll find it for more. On a lot of brands the number is identical everywhere it's sold legitimately — the manufacturer sets a minimum advertised price and every authorized dealer holds it. When a price sits well under that, it's worth asking why before it's worth celebrating.

Shop Local · Support Independent

Every order helps keep your local hardware store on the corner.

Why we built NHG
You might find it for less locally. Independent retailers often offer competitive pricing — some products are even cheaper in-store than online.
Real expert advice — not search results. Independent hardware staff know their inventory and the local conditions you're working in.
Keep the neighborhood working. Every dollar spent at an independent retailer returns roughly 3x more to your local economy than at a national chain.
