About Product Overview

The Superior Pump 90050 is a 1/2 HP transfer pump built with a cast iron housing that stands up to corrosion and daily use. Because it's manually operated with a switchless design, you control exactly when it runs and when it stops—no float switch guessing when to kick on.

Rated for up to 1500 GPH and capable of pushing water up to 110 feet of head, it has the muscle to move water out of flooded basements, drain pools and hot tubs, or empty stock tanks and water troughs. It's not self-priming, so it needs to be submerged or primed before use, which is typical for this style of utility pump. The 3/4-inch discharge pipe connection works with standard garden hose and pipe fittings found at most hardware stores.
