About Product Overview

The Basement Watchdog BWSP is a battery-powered backup sump pump, built to kick in when your primary pump loses power or fails during a storm. That's the moment basements flood, and this pump is designed specifically to cover that gap - not to run as your everyday pump.

It moves up to 2,600 gallons per hour at full output and still pushes 1,850 GPH against 10 feet of head, so it keeps working even when water has to travel up and out of a deeper pit. The dual reed switch gives it reliable on/off sensing, and the thermoplastic housing resists the corrosion that takes out metal pumps sitting in a wet sump over time. A 1.5-inch discharge outlet and bottom suction intake keep it compatible with standard sump setups.
