About Product Overview

The Basement Watchdog CITE-33 moves water fast when your basement needs it most, with a maximum discharge of 3,720 gallons per hour and 3,100 GPH still available at 10 feet of head. A cast iron housing gives this 1/3 HP pump the durability to handle repeated cycling and stay cool during long runs, while bottom suction intake pulls water down to a lower level than top-suction designs.

Inside, a dual reed switch controls on/off cycling for reliable activation without the float arm hang-ups common on older mechanical switches. It's built to push water through a standard 1-1/2 inch discharge outlet and runs on a 10 foot cord at 115V, 3.5 amps. With a 22 foot maximum head rating, it's suited for typical residential basement and crawlspace setups, and CSA and UL compliance confirm it's been tested to recognized safety standards.
