The BW-27AGM is a maintenance-free AGM battery built to run a Basement Watchdog backup sump pump system when the power goes out - which, of course, is exactly when you need it most. AGM (absorbed glass mat) construction means there's no water to check or top off and no acid to spill, so it can sit ready in a basement or utility room for the long haul without upkeep.

This is the battery half of a battery-backup sump setup, not the pump itself, so it's meant to pair with a compatible Basement Watchdog backup system to keep water moving out of your sump pit during a storm or blackout.
