About Product Overview

This Tru-Flate regulator with gauge lets you dial back the pressure coming out of your compressor line so it matches what a specific tool or job needs, instead of blasting everything at full tank pressure. The built-in gauge gives you a direct read on output pressure, which matters when you're running air tools that perform best - or last longer - at a lower, controlled setting rather than whatever the compressor happens to be putting out.

It's built compact, with a plastic and steel body that keeps it light on the line without feeling flimsy, and it uses NPTF threads with a 3/8 in. female inlet for a secure connection into standard air hose setups. Rated up to 125 PSI max, it's sized for garage and shop compressor work rather than industrial-scale air systems. Made in the USA.

Go ahead. Check.

You're going to open the other tab. Everybody does. We'd rather say so than pretend otherwise — so open it. We'll wait.

When you're over there, check four things before you click buy.

01

Who's actually selling it

The brand name is on the listing. A different company is in the seller field. Those aren't the same thing, and the second one is who you're buying from.

02

Whether the warranty survives

Most manufacturers only honor a warranty when the unit came through an authorized dealer. We're authorized for Tru-Flate. A third-party marketplace seller usually isn't.

03

Where the box came from

Gray-market stock, returns repackaged as new, and outright fakes move through marketplaces constantly. It all looks identical in the photo. It stops looking identical when it fails.

04

Who you call when it breaks

Ours is a phone number with a person behind it who has held this product. M–F, 6 AM – 5 PM Pacific. (866) 469-8556

We're not always the cheapest.

Sometimes you'll find it for less. Sometimes you'll find it for more. On a lot of brands the number is identical everywhere it's sold legitimately — the manufacturer sets a minimum advertised price and every authorized dealer holds it. When a price sits well under that, it's worth asking why before it's worth celebrating.

Every order helps keep your local hardware store on the corner.

Why we built NHG
You might find it for less locally. Independent retailers often offer competitive pricing — some products are even cheaper in-store than online.
Real expert advice — not search results. Independent hardware staff know their inventory and the local conditions you're working in.
Keep the neighborhood working. Every dollar spent at an independent retailer returns roughly 3x more to your local economy than at a national chain.
