Vornado built the VH2 around vortex circulation, which pulls air through the heater and pushes it back out in a steady stream rather than just blasting heat straight ahead. That means more even coverage across a room instead of one hot spot near the unit. At 1500 watts with two heat levels and a built-in thermostat, it's sized to handle spaces up to 150 square feet, so it's a solid fit for a bedroom, home office, or den.

The plastic housing keeps it light at just over 5 pounds, easy to move from room to room as the seasons change. It's ETL listed for safety and backed by a 5-year warranty, which is well above average for a portable heater in this class.
