About Product Overview

This 2-gallon expansion tank from Water Worker (a sub-brand of Amtrol) takes the pressure off your water heater system - literally. As water heats up, it expands, and without somewhere for that extra volume to go, you get stress on pipes, fittings, and the heater's tank. This unit gives that expanding water a place to sit, protecting your system from pressure spikes. The steel shell and polypropylene lining stand up to hot water, and the 3/4" MPT connection makes it a straightforward add to most residential setups.
