About Product Overview

The WAYNE WCS50T handles what a standard sump pump can't: solid waste. Built for sewage and effluent applications, this 1/2 HP pump moves up to 10,000 gallons per hour and passes solids up to 2 inches in diameter through its 2-inch discharge, making it a fit for basement bathrooms, laundry pits, and septic or holding tank systems.

The cast iron housing helps the pump dissipate heat and stand up to the demands of continuous duty, while the tethered float switch automatically triggers the pump at a 19-inch on level and shuts off at 10.5 inches, keeping the pit from running dry. It's CSA certified and built in the USA, rated for pits at least 18 inches in diameter and water temperatures between 40 and 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
