About Product Overview

The WAYNE WSS30VN is a 1/2 HP cast iron sump pump built for basements and crawl spaces that see real water volume during storms. It moves up to 5,100 gallons per hour at its peak, and still pushes 3,840 GPH at 10 feet of head and 2,040 GPH at 20 feet, so it keeps working as the vertical lift increases. The cast iron housing dissipates heat better than plastic, which helps the motor handle long, heavy-duty runs during extended rain events. A vertical float switch handles the on/off cycling automatically, kicking on at 9 inches and off at 4 inches, so you're not manually flipping a switch every time water rises. With a 1-1/2 inch discharge outlet and UL compliance, it's built to work with standard plumbing and to code. Made in the USA.
