About Product Overview

The Wayne WSB1275 is a 12-volt sealed lead-acid battery built to power battery backup sump pump systems when the electricity goes out and water keeps rising. It's maintenance-free, so there's no checking fluid levels or topping off acid over the years it sits in your basement waiting to be needed. With a 75 capacity rating, it's sized to keep a backup sump pump running through the kind of extended outage that usually comes with a bad storm, which is exactly when your primary pump can't be trusted to work at all. The sealed design means it can be installed and stored without the ventilation and spill concerns of older wet-cell batteries. It's rechargeable, so once used it can be brought back to full charge and left ready for the next event.
