About Product Overview

The Genesis II Griddle turns a chunk of your Weber's cooking area into a solid, even-heating surface for the food that doesn't do well falling through grill grates. Cast iron with a porcelain coating means it holds heat steadily and stands up to repeated use, whether you're doing smash burgers, bacon and eggs, thin-cut vegetables, or shrimp and other seafood that need full contact with a flat surface to cook right.

Built specifically for the Genesis II line, it sets in place without any rigging or workaround. The porcelain-coated steel handle makes it easier to lift and reposition, though it's worth noting the handle isn't heat-resistant, so a mitt or towel is a good idea when moving it mid-cook. It's not dishwasher safe, so plan on hand-cleaning it like you would any cast iron piece, which also helps it season and perform better over time.
