About Product Overview

The Werner 5' Fiberglass Step Ladder is built for jobs where power tools and electrical work are part of the picture. Fiberglass rails keep the ladder non-conductive, so it's a safer choice when you're working near wiring, outlets, or overhead lines. With a Type I ANSI rating and a 250-pound duty rating, it handles most homeowner and light commercial tasks without hesitation.

Four steps with a 12-inch rise get you to a 9-foot reach height, enough for ceiling work, gutter cleaning, or reaching upper shelves. The aluminum steps have a nonslip tread for solid footing, and the ladder folds flat for storage when the job's done. It's weather resistant too, so it holds up whether you're using it in the garage or outside on a paint job.
