About Product Overview

The Woodford Y34-6 is a frost-proof yard hydrant built for outdoor watering and irrigation systems that need to hold up through cold winters without cracking or freezing solid. At 72 inches long, it's made for a deep bury line, keeping the water column below the frost line so the hydrant drains itself automatically after each use and stays ready to go come spring.

Galvanized steel construction stands up to the weather and daily use, and the lever handle makes on/off operation quick even with gloves on. The 3/4-inch FIP inlet connects to your supply line while the MPT outlet end accepts standard garden hose fittings or irrigation hardware. Rated for 125 psi and up to 120°F, it's built for real-world outdoor pressure and temperature swings, not just light-duty use.
