The Yale Assure Lock 2 swaps a traditional key-and-cylinder routine for keypad entry backed by Bluetooth connectivity, built to hold up to daily use at a front door, rental unit, or small office. It's Grade 2 rated, which puts it in commercial territory as well as residential, and the single-cylinder design fits doors that swing in either direction, so you're not locked into one layout.
The matte black metal housing keeps a clean, low-profile look on the door while the mechanical hardware underneath does the heavy lifting. One physical key ships with the lock for backup access, and Yale backs the finish and mechanics with a lifetime limited warranty, plus two years on the electronics - a sign they expect this to be a long-term fixture, not a lock you replace in a year.
