About Product Overview

Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 earns its reputation as a go-to primer because it does three jobs at once: seals porous surfaces, blocks stains, and gives topcoats a uniform surface to grip. This 5-gallon pail is sized for whole-room jobs, new drywall, or repaint projects where you don't want to stop mid-wall to mix another batch.

It's built for all surfaces, indoors or out, so it works whether you're priming raw wood trim, patched drywall, or masonry before painting. Because it's tintable, you can shade it closer to your topcoat color for better hide, and cleanup is just soap and water while it's wet. Recoat in as little as an hour keeps a painting schedule moving, though the primer needs a full week to cure completely.
