About Product Overview

Zinsser Cover Stain is an oil-based spray primer and sealer built to block stains before they bleed through your topcoat. The alkyd formula goes down flat and works on all surfaces, indoors or outdoors, so it's a solid choice for spot-priming water stains, marker, smoke damage, or patched drywall before painting.

Recoat in as little as an hour, and expect full cure within a week. Since it's oil-based, clean up your equipment with mineral spirits.
