About Product Overview

The Zoeller 1/2 HP submersible sewage pump is built to move wastewater and solids from a basement bathroom, laundry room, or any below-grade fixture up to the main sewer line. Its cast iron housing stands up to the constant exposure to waste and moisture that wears down lighter materials, and the automatic vertical float switch turns the pump on at 13 inches and off at 5 inches so it runs only when needed.

Rated to pass solids up to 2 inches through a 2-inch discharge, it's sized for a standard sewage ejector basin with at least an 18-inch diameter. At 115 volts and 9.8 amps, it delivers up to 6,000 GPH of discharge flow and can push water up to 15 feet of head, making it a solid fit for full-bathroom additions or remodeled basements needing an ejector system. CSA certified and backed by a 3-year manufacturer warranty.

Go ahead. Check.

You're going to open the other tab. Everybody does. We'd rather say so than pretend otherwise — so open it. We'll wait.

When you're over there, check four things before you click buy.

01

Who's actually selling it

The brand name is on the listing. A different company is in the seller field. Those aren't the same thing, and the second one is who you're buying from.

02

Whether the warranty survives

Most manufacturers only honor a warranty when the unit came through an authorized dealer. We're authorized for Zoeller. A third-party marketplace seller usually isn't.

03

Where the box came from

Gray-market stock, returns repackaged as new, and outright fakes move through marketplaces constantly. It all looks identical in the photo. It stops looking identical when it fails.

04

Who you call when it breaks

Ours is a phone number with a person behind it who has held this product. M–F, 6 AM – 5 PM Pacific. (866) 469-8556

We're not always the cheapest.

Sometimes you'll find it for less. Sometimes you'll find it for more. On a lot of brands the number is identical everywhere it's sold legitimately — the manufacturer sets a minimum advertised price and every authorized dealer holds it. When a price sits well under that, it's worth asking why before it's worth celebrating.

Every order helps keep your local hardware store on the corner.

Why we built NHG
You might find it for less locally. Independent retailers often offer competitive pricing — some products are even cheaper in-store than online.
Real expert advice — not search results. Independent hardware staff know their inventory and the local conditions you're working in.
Keep the neighborhood working. Every dollar spent at an independent retailer returns roughly 3x more to your local economy than at a national chain.
