About Product Overview

The Zoeller 1261-0001 handles what a standard sump pump can't: sewage and effluent with solids up to 2 inches, moved through a full 2-inch discharge line without clogging. A cast iron housing stands up to the constant submersion and hard use that basement sewage systems demand, while the tethered float switch gives it a reliable 14-inch on, 6-inch off cycle so the pump only runs when there's a real load to clear.

At 1/3 HP and 115V, it's sized for residential ejector pits handling toilets, laundry, and other wastewater lines rather than heavy commercial flow. It needs at least an 18-inch diameter sump pit to operate properly, and it's CSA certified with a 2-year manufacturer warranty backing it up. Good fit for basement bathroom additions, laundry rooms below grade, or any setup where gravity alone can't get wastewater to the main line.
