Cutting non-ferrous metal on a miter saw takes a blade built for it, and the Diablo SWBLD 12" 72T is designed around that job specifically. The triple-chip grind (TCG) tooth pattern alternates flat and chamfered teeth, which is the standard approach for pushing through aluminum, copper, and brass without the material grabbing or the edge chipping out. At 72 teeth, the tooth count is high enough to keep cuts clean on softer plastics and fiberglass too, so one blade covers a range of non-ferrous work.
The teeth are made from TiCo Hi-Density Carbide, a harder carbide formulation meant to hold an edge longer when cutting metal versus standard blades built for wood. It's sized for 12-inch miter and slide miter saws with a 1-inch arbor, and rated for speeds up to 6000 RPM. Made in Italy.
