Cutting fiber cement siding wears out ordinary carbide blades fast - the cement fillers in products like HardiePlank act like sandpaper on standard teeth. Diablo built this 6-1/2 in. blade specifically for that job, using PCD (polycrystalline diamond) tips instead of carbide. Diamond holds an edge far longer against abrasive fiber cement, so you get more cuts per blade before it dulls.
The blade runs a low 4-tooth count with a TCG (triple chip grind) profile and a 10-degree hook angle, a combination suited to fast, clean cuts through fiber cement board rather than wood. A thin 0.071 in. kerf reduces the material the blade has to remove, easing the load on your saw. It's built for any fiber cement product and fits standard 6-1/2 in. circular saws with a 5/8 in. arbor. Made in Italy under Diablo's HardieBlade line, it ships one blade per carded package.
