About Product Overview

The Diablo Steel Demon D0770FA is built for one job: cutting ferrous metal cleanly and fast. Its 70-tooth carbide grind and negative -5 hook angle keep the blade from grabbing or climbing as it works through steel studs, corrugated sheet, roofing panels, siding, and decking. That aggressive negative hook also helps control chatter and burr on thin-gauge material, which matters when you're cutting overhead or on a ladder.

Teeth are tipped with TiCo Hi-Density Carbide, a harder, more heat-resistant carbide that Diablo uses specifically to stand up to the friction and heat of metal cutting rather than wood. A thin 0.071" kerf means less resistance and a longer run time before the edge dulls. This is the blade for contractors and crews doing steel stud framing, metal roofing installs, or siding jobs who need a dedicated metal-cutting blade instead of forcing a wood blade to do work it wasn't built for.
