About Product Overview

This 2" retractable starter bit gives hole saws a clean, centered start without wandering across the work surface. Built from carbon steel with a 1/4" shank, it fits standard hole saw arbors and retracts once the saw teeth engage the material, so it's not left protruding to snag or mar the backside of your cut.
