About Product Overview

Pipe insulation covers the straight runs, but tee fittings need their own piece—that's what this Armacell Tundra tee insulation is built for. It's molded polyethylene foam sized for 1/2" pipe, with a semi-slit, self-sealing design that fits around the tee joint without cutting and taping scrap insulation to make it work. The closed-cell foam holds an R-value of 3.3 and handles a wide temperature range, so it works equally well on hot water lines and cold refrigerant or chilled water piping where condensation is a concern.
