About Product Overview

This Broan-NuTone vertical discharge exhaust fan handles the everyday job of clearing moisture and odors out of a bathroom, laundry area, or utility room, sending air up and out rather than through a wall. At 200 CFM it moves a solid volume of air, and at 8.5 sones it runs quiet enough that you won't think twice about leaving it on. The steel housing holds up over years of daily use in a damp environment, and the white finish keeps it looking clean against a ceiling.

It's a ceiling-mount installation, so it's suited to rooms where venting straight up through the roof makes more sense than routing ductwork sideways through a wall. No built-in light means it's purpose-built for exhaust duty alone, keeping the design simple and the price down.
